At the Tokyo Story Market, which specializes in audio-visual adaptation rights for manga, novels, and more, six Japanese publishers with diverse specialties promoted their works to international film producers. This active exchange set the stage for lively negotiations to bring original stories to the screen.

Meanwhile, at the Tokyo Gap-Financing Market (TGFM), a  project market for feature films, 20 projects from Japan and abroad pitched enthusiastically to domestic and international investors, aiming to secure financing for their productions.

Welcome Party

Industry professionals gathered for a lively event. TIFFCOM CEO Yasushi Shiina opened the evening with a greeting and a toast, setting the stage for an animated gathering. Fuji Television Global Vision 2024
< Oct 31st  16:00 - 18:00 @ Seminar A>

Organizer: Fuji Television Network, Inc.

Fuji TV aims to shift its profit structure away from the traditional TV broadcasting-centred way of doing business and society, to a new business model that focuses on the "value of content" created by Fuji TV. In particular, in the IP business, we view IP = "rights that can be used to obtain economic value", and will design a system that expands the areas available to Fuji TV and leads to a return on investment through various channels, with particular emphasis on the establishment of rights through negotiations in the upstream areas. Within this IP business, the global strategy in particular is positioned as one of the most important points, and we will now introduce some of the projects underway.
