Content Distribution from Local Areas to Overseas

This seminar will showcase three different approaches to overseas expansion, including: Chukyo TV in Nagoya, which handles both completed program sales and format sales; Television Shin-Hiroshima, which co-produces cultural programs with French broadcasters; and The NIKKEI, which handles overseas program sales for TV Tokyo affiliated stations. The seminar will introduce these initiatives and showcase the latest program. At last, BEAJ will introduce the Japan Program Catalog, an online program catalog operated by BEAJ.

Italy - Japan Co-Production Opportunities

The Agreement on Film Co-production between Japan and Italy, signed in 2023, officially came into effect on August 9, 2024. To mark this achievement, the upcoming TIFFCOM seminar will showcase a case study on Italian co-production, along with a special pitching session. During this session, producers from Italy and Asia will present their proposals for collaborative Italian-Japanese film projects.
